PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Garland County Senior Golf Association is beginning an exciting new year of golf tournaments. We have added the Greens at North Hills for our October event, while dropping Hurricane CC. I would like to welcome all our new members as well as our returning members. The board of directors decided to put an ad in the Voice to increase our membership by offering free membership to all first-time members only. We also want our current members to convey to their golf groups our membership drive. This will allow for a great field of players for each tournament. To access our enhanced website visit the webpage at: https://www.gcsga.org. Here you can sign up for upcoming golf tournaments, keep in mind the cutoff date for each tournament is 10 days prior to the event date. You can find the scheduled golf courses, membership roster names and our Board Members. Each tournament fee is $65 this year, mail your check made out to GCSGA to Rick Brown 14 Magnifico Way, HSV, AR 71909.
Members be sure you have paid your GHIN fees for 2025.

We were able to finish all seven tournaments in 2024. The individual Championship rounds will be at the 3 tournaments that are 2-man Net best ball. Best 2 of the 3 for low gross and low net (1st and 2nd places for each) Free round certificates for each will be awarded at the banquet.
Thanks to Home Buddies and Re/Max Realty we will have three courses that will afford an opportunity for $6500 hole-in-one at Glenwood, Chamberlyne and the Greens at North Hills. All tournaments will be on the third Thursday of each month from April through October. The courses this year are:
Glenwood Country Club -- (April 17)
Eagle Hill Golf and Athletic Club -- Little Rock (May 15)
Country Club of Arkansas -- Maumelle (June 19)
Chamberlyne Country Club -- Danville (July 17)
Cypress Creek Golf Course -- Cabot (August 14)
DeGray State Park -- Bismarck (September 18)
The Greens North Hills -- Sherwood (October 17)

Members will play the Tee Box in which your handicap is established. You may sign up guests to the monthly tournaments provided they are 50 years old or older and have a GHIN Index at their respective Tee Box. The player groupings are based on the play format of the day; therefore, you may or may not be playing with your guest.
If you are not a member, we welcome you to join GCSGA. Our goal is to encourage fellowship and friendly competition in golf. If you have any questions, please contact one of our 2025 officers or a current member.
The annual banquet will be Wednesday, November 5, at Granada Grill in Hot Springs Village.
Cocktails at 5:30 with dinner at 6:00.
I encourage you to patronize our sponsors and tell them we appreciate their support of GCSGA. Our sponsor donations are used for tournament prizes.
